Both 316 stainless steel cable ties and 304 stainless steel cable ties have a similar structure that comprises three main components: the strap, the locking mechanism, and the ball. Here's a closer look at the composition of stainless steel cable ties with metal lock:
1. Strap: This is the long, narrow part of the cable tie that wraps around the object being secured. Stainless steel metal cable ties are made of flat or rounded straps that are flexible but tough. The straps of stainless steel locking cable metal zip ties are available in different sizes and lengths to suit different applications.
2. Locking Mechanism: The locking mechanism secures the strap in place once it is tightened around the object being bundled. The locking mechanism can be either a self-locking mechanism or a ball-lock mechanism. The self-locking mechanism on stainless steel cable ties features a series of ridges on either side of the strap that interlock when the cable tie is pulled tight.
