RTV silicones -Room Temperature Vulcanizing RTV -Room Temperature Vulcanizing. As the most stable polymer available, silicones offer superior reliability, excellent service life and reduced production costs. This form of sealant starts to cure as soon as it is exposed to the air – or, more precisely, the moisture in the air. Therefore, it is necessary that one works quickly when using RTV silicone sealant.
